RRT Serves Support: Luton Bedfordshire Police
On September 14th, the local Rapid Relief Team (RRT) in Luton was called upon to assist Bedfordshire Police with an incident that occurred over the weekend in Luton.
Bedfordshire Police is a dedicated team that ensures public safety through crime prevention and investigation. Working closely with local communities and other agencies effectively addresses issues and fosters strong relationships with residents.
RRT supported Bedfordshire Police by donating 40 snack packs to the staff working tirelessly on the scene. The RRT Snack Pack is designed to provide emergency services with essential sustenance on the go, helping to keep them energised and motivated during their demanding shifts—because “an army cannot march on an empty stomach.”
Matthew Waters, a constable with Bedfordshire Police, expressed his deep gratitude to the RRT team, saying: “Thank you for the support you provided during the incident in Luton on Friday. Your donation of 40 rescue meals for officers and staff at the scene was greatly appreciated. Although you were prepared to provide hot food the next day, the situation was scaled back, and this service was no longer needed. We are extremely grateful for all the support you offered to Bedfordshire Police.”
RRT offers tangible support and quality catering assistance to charities, government and emergency services confronting some of humankind’s greatest challenges.
