The Rochester Rapid Relief Team was honored to support a multi-department live fire training exercise at the Point Pleasant Fire Department’s Training Grounds 🚒

Firefighters from Webster Volunteer Fire Department, Penfield, and Irondequoit Departments came together for hands-on, high-intensity emergency response training -sharpening skills and strengthening teamwork.

Following the exercise, RRT served up a well-earned hot lunch and refreshments. It was a great opportunity to connect, show appreciation, and say thank you to the dedicated first responders who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.

Yesterday, the RRT Gothenburg team provided a meal to thank the Gothenburg Fire Department and show support for the farmers and ranchers impacted by the devastating wildfires that scorched more than 130,000 acres south of town. In addition, RRT donated 20 tons of cattle feed to help provide essential protein supplements for livestock, as much of the region’s feed supply was destroyed.

Our hearts go out to the ranching community as they face ongoing uncertainty, compounded by a persistent drought that continues to challenge the region. We are deeply grateful to the firefighters and local residents who put everything on the line to protect lives, land, and livelihoods. We stand with you.

Reflecting on last year’s National Police Week in Washington, D.C., we were honored to stand alongside families, volunteers, and the wider community in support of such an important occasion.

From serving food and refreshments to helping create a welcoming space for those attending, it was a privilege to play a small part in supporting everyone who came together to remember, honor, and connect.

We’re now looking ahead to this year’s event and are honored to be returning once again to support by serving food and refreshments to families and volunteers throughout the week.

We look forward to being back in D.C. and continuing to support this meaningful event.
