Day of Unity: RRT Serves 300 Meals at Merseyside Police Event
On August 30th, the local Rapid Relief Team (RRT) in Liverpool provided 300 burger meals at the Merseyside Police Community Engagement Event.
Organised by Merseyside Police, the event aimed to foster strong relationships within the community. Held at Jubilee Park in Liverpool, the day was filled with various fun activities that brought together local families and staff. Attendees enjoyed face painting, balloon modelling, a dance performance by a local youth group, an obstacle course, and a football game. The Fire Brigade, Royal Navy, Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue, Everton in the Community, McDonald’s, and several other organisations were also present, adding to the day’s excitement.
Formed in 1974, Merseyside Police serves a population of around 1.5 million people. The force is deeply committed to putting the community at the heart of everything they do. They take pride in delivering outstanding policing services and are dedicated to working closely with residents to address the issues that matter most to them.
RRT has been proud to support Merseyside Police over the years and is delighted to stand by them once again. Through our continued support and compassion, we aim to make a difference and express our gratitude to these heroes for their dedication to keeping the community safe.
