The Rapid Relief Team’s Board of Directors is made of up of business-minded leaders who have expertise in the following areas: finance, community welfare, procurement, accounting, asset management, and information technology.
Andy joined RRT UK in December 2019 as Finance Director. Andy is CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of his own Safety Footwear business which he co-founded 21 years ago and has also served as a Trustee of Hughes Travel Trust for 17 years. He now brings his wealth of commercial and charity experience to the RRT UK Board.
Ted Soulsby joined the RRT board in January 2024 to oversee Operations. In his new role, Ted is responsible for managing all our events and ensuring the efficiency of our operational duties, leveraging on his extensive background, as Managing Director of CID Group.
Daniel Reiner has joined RRT board as of January 2024, to support PR and Communications. He has been a dedicated volunteer since 2016. Currently, Daniel serves as the Managing Director for Byson, where he develops and executes company strategy, provides direction to the management team, and maintains the company's vision, mission, and values.
Russell joined the RRT board in November 2020. He is Managing Director of a 3rd generation family business supplying packaging and consumables across the UK that has built its foundations on solid ethics and a determination to strive for continued excellence. He has been passionately involved in charitable projects for many years and will be able to bring this experience and passion to RRT.
Sam commenced his involvement with RRT in a volunteer capacity in 2016 before being elected as a Board Member in February 2019. As well as being a passionate and active volunteer for the Central West Region, Sam’s role is General Manager which touches most aspects of the organisation, but predominantly is the conduit between Global Head Office and the UK region. Outside of RRT, Sam has extensive experience in sales management and is a Director in a national wholesale cleaning supplies business.
Ben has been involved in RRT since 2016 when he was Region Team Leader for the South East and joined the board in November 2020, bringing practical knowledge of events in addition to his plethora of experience as Board member at Streetspace. Ben's main role in RRT is event sign off in addition to running individual projects.
