Homelessness, Poverty & Hardship

According to Homeless Link, 4,266 people were sleeping rough during Autumn 2019 across the country. However, a large percentage, around 60%, of people who become homeless do not show up in the official figures. This includes persons who are homeless but find a temporary solution by staying with family or friends, living in squats or other insecure accommodation. While there are many contributing factors, domestic and family violence is cited as the biggest cause of homelessness.

Help us make a difference

Across the globe, many charitable organisations work to bridge the gap for the homeless, with homeless missions offering food, clothing and shelter to people in times of crisis.

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) humbly supports the noble efforts of the United Kingdom’s homeless missions with catered breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and donates warm, portable blankets and other essential items to those in need.
