Homelessness, Poverty & Hardship

According to the New Zealand Council of Christian Social Services, it is estimated that there are around 42,000 people in New Zealand who are moving between temporary and insecure accommodation. While there are many contributing factors, domestic and family harm is cited as the biggest cause of homelessness.

Help us make a difference

Across the globe, many charitable organisations work to bridge the gap for the homeless, with homeless missions offering food, clothing and shelter to people in times of crisis.

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) humbly supports the noble efforts of New Zealand’s homeless missions with catered breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and donates warm, portable blankets and other essential items to those in need.
