RRT has provided the pit stops for the participants of the Tour de V Centre – a four-day cycle across Victoria to raise money to support the health and wellbeing of veterans.

The inaugural Tour de V Centre was hosted by Vasey RSL Care, which provides services for returned servicemen and women, to raise funds as well as awareness of the higher rates of suicide and homelessness among veterans.

Volunteers served hot breakfasts and barista-made coffee at four locations along the cycle route, at Sunbury, Ballarat, Geelong and Box Hill.

"Providing a hot breakfast and coffee to the riders as they cycled for such an important cause was a small gesture to show our appreciation and stand behind the wellbeing of our returned servicemen and women."

RRT Warrnambool Team Leader, Joel Earl

Our veterans are the backbone of this country, and we wanted to support them in any way we could.
