Last week, the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age published the article “Brethren charity sues woman allegedly abused by an elder.” The article claims that a legal action, initiated by the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) is an attempt to silence a former member of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church.

The legal action taken by RRT relates solely to the protection of its copyright work.

Like any organisation, the Rapid Relief Team protects its image and brand from misuse.

It is not an attempt to silence anyone.
