RRT Volunteers Support Major Three-day Resilience Roadshow at London Stansted Airport
RRT volunteers rolled up their sleeves and fired up the grill to support a major three-day resilience roadshow at London Stansted Airport—serving 2,000 hot meals to hardworking staff and essential partners.
This event was all about bringing people together—from frontline airport teams to senior managers, alongside key external organisations like the police and border forces. The goal? Strengthening collaboration and boosting preparedness to ensure everyone is ready to act fast in a crisis.
Our volunteers from the Chelmsford, Thaxted, and Colchester RRT teams set up our signature tent just outside the airport, serving our famous burger meals with a side of drinks and refreshments. As always, it was more than just food—it was about fuelling connection, resilience, and readiness.
These kinds of events also give us the chance to show what RRT is all about. Whether it’s providing welfare support during live incidents or stepping in to help communities prepare before emergencies happen, we’re ready to lend a hand wherever we’re needed.
