RRT Supports Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice!

On September 7th, the local Rapid Relief Team (RRT) Fernhurst put up their red tent to participate in and honour Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice at their Staff thank-you meal. 

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, located in Farnham, is the only hospice care service for adults and their families living with cancer or other terminal illnesses across West Surrey and parts of northeast Hampshire. The hospice provides compassionate support and end-of-life care, allowing patients and their families to receive care in their preferred setting. Their mission is to offer compassionate care to adults with terminal illnesses and their loved ones, ensuring the best possible quality of life and peaceful final days.

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice organised the ‘Thank You’ meal to celebrate and express gratitude for their staff’s hard work and dedication. It was a memorable day, bringing together staff, colleagues, volunteers, and attendees to relax, share conversations, and show appreciation. The Rapid Relief Team Fernhurst supported the event by grilling and serving around 250 burgers and offering cold drinks to attendees, contributing to the atmosphere of gratitude, generosity, and team spirit.
