RRT Joins LOROS: Big Day Out Event

The Leicester RRT was thrilled to participate in this year’s ‘LOROS Big Day Out’ on Saturday, August 17th, supporting the Hospice staff and local community. The event was lively, and our BBQ station was in full swing, sizzling with over 1,000 burgers and vegan meals. Despite a bit of rain, the community’s spirits remained high, and we contributed by handing out chilled drinks to ensure everyone stayed well-fed and hydrated throughout the day.

It was a fantastic occasion for all involved, and the team was in its element—doing what we do best: supporting the community with care and compassion.

Our support for LOROS didn’t stop there. On Thursday, August 15th, the Leicester team had the honour of contributing to the LOROS Staff Thank You Meal 2024, where we provided 200 burger meals. This gesture was a small way to express our gratitude to the dedicated LOROS Hospice staff for their unwavering commitment and hard work over the past year.
