RRT Supports Addenbrooke’s NHS Staff with Summer Appreciation Meal!

Posted: July 19, 2024

On July 3rd, Rapid Relief Team (RRT) volunteers from Cambridge supported NHS staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Working with Addenbrooke’s, RRT cooked up a staff recognition meal this summer to promote a more positive mindset and improve mental health among staff. This is important because a positive mindset can enhance job satisfaction, reduce stress and improve overall well-being, which benefits everyone!

This event honoured the hardworking individuals at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, demonstrating their importance. These staff members deliver exemplary care to their patients. As a token of appreciation for their incredible work, RRT distributed 3,000 burger meals to the staff.

Ian Walker, Director of Corporate Affairs, expressed his gratitude, by saying..

Inspired by community spirit and the gift of giving, RRT volunteers from Cambridge will continue to support Addenbrooke’s Hospital staff. RRT serves people with care and compassion in their time of need.
