RRT Londonderry Supports Firefighters at Ballyarnett Shed Fire
Last Thursday, crews from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) worked tirelessly to battle a significant blaze in a farm shed near Ballyarnett. Their swift response and dedication helped bring the situation under control, protecting nearby property and ensuring the safety of the surrounding community.
In support of their efforts, RRT Londonderry deployed within 40 minutes of the call-out, providing hot meals and refreshments to firefighters on the ground. Volunteers worked quickly to set up and serve the crews, offering a small moment of comfort during a demanding and fast-moving incident.
"RRT is always ready to step in and support our incredible emergency services when they need us most. The firefighters worked tirelessly and we’re grateful for the opportunity to provide a little comfort and support whilst they carried out their vital work.”
