RRT Exeter Supports Hospiscare Mens Walk

RRT Exeter was proud to support the annual Men’s Walk by providing bacon rolls and hot and cold drinks to help participants as they began a seven-mile sponsored walk to raise money for Hospiscare.

The event took place on Saturday, 15 March, starting from Exeter’s well-known Double Locks. Walkers followed a scenic route before returning to celebrate with a pint from Exeter Brewery, a tasty pasty from Chunk of Devon, and the chance to watch the Wales vs. England Six Nations match on a big screen.

Since it began in 2012, the Men’s Walk had raised £935,000. This year, participants aimed to push that total past £1 million. Every step helped support local people living with a terminal illness.

RRT Exeter played an important part by serving around 1,500 meals, helping walkers stay energised and hydrated.
