RRT Dereham Supports Norfolk Accident Response Service Fundraiser
On 20 June, the Norfolk Accident Response Service (NARS) opened the doors to a community craft fair in Norfolk, inviting local people to come together and help sustain a service that saves lives.
NARS is a charity born out of the East of England Ambulance Service, running a team of fully volunteer paramedics who respond to medical emergencies across the region. Maintaining the specialist equipment that makes that response possible takes significant ongoing investment, and fundraising events like this one are what keep the service running.
RRT Dereham were honoured to support the day, serving 80 burger meals to participants and visitors throughout. It was an enjoyable occasion, with a real sense of community spirit from everyone who attended.
"NARS do something quite extraordinary — a team of volunteers stepping up to provide paramedic-level emergency care for their community. Events like this are what make that possible, and it was a privilege to be there and contribute in a practical way."
