April has flown by here at the Rapid Relief Team. This month saw 156 volunteers serve 4505 meals at 21 events!

In Kirkcaldy, RRT dished up meals for local families attending the YMCA open day event. The grey and wet weather didn’t stop the children from playing, exploring, and enjoying a hot meal!

This month, cyclists and supporters flocked to Bristol for the Tour de Bristol event, raising money for St Peter’s Hospice.

RRT supported the Royal Surrey Hospital this month at their well-being event, feeding 2,200 medical personnel. It was amazing to treat the hospital staff, who do so much to care for others.

RRT Swansea helped to replenish the fire and flood services on their flood training day, during which they served 200 meals. They worked up quite the appetite, spending the day rehearsing a rescue operation out in the elements.

That’s all for this month, see you again soon!
