The Team in Dublin were delighted to donate 400 Family Food Boxes to Peter McVerry Trust for use in their family hubs and houses. In 2020, the Peter McVerry Trust helped over 1,300 people move into a home of their own across Ireland, including more than 100 families who have now moved out of homelessness.

Peter McVerry Trust is a national housing and homeless charity committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage. The charity provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger people and vulnerable adults with complex needs, and offers pathways out of homelessness based on the principles of the Housing First model.

Pat Doyle, Chief Executive Office at Peter McVerry trust said “Peter McVerry Trust is facing many challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, including our fundraising capacity. Your donation could not have come at a better time and because of the generosity of you and all the Rapid Relief Team, we will support even more people experiencing homelessness and continue to provide homes and more positive futures for those who need our help”.

We feel honoured to support such a great organisation!
