C3 Construction Community Connect 2025
Throughout 2025, the Construction Community Connect (C3) initiative continued its vital mission of supporting mental wellbeing across the construction sector – an industry where long hours, intense pressure, and isolation too often take a quiet toll. With two construction workers in the UK tragically lost to suicide each day, creating simple moments of connection has never mattered more.
C3 brought leading mental health charities like Andy’s Man Club and Mates in Mind directly onto construction sites, offering workers a safe space to pause, open up, and seek the support they need. Whether it was a private chat, a moment of reflection, or the reassurance of knowing help is close at hand, these visits helped spark conversations that could truly save lives.
In support of this essential work, RRT was humbled to assist throughout the year – serving at 12 events, reaching 5,175 workers, and visiting seven sites to help create welcoming spaces where people felt supported and valued.
“It’s been humbling to witness the courage of workers who stepped forward to talk about their wellbeing, if a coffee and doughnut helps someone seek help, then every visit is worthwhile. We’re grateful to play a small part in these meaningful conversations.”
