RRT Bristol Joins CEO Sleepout to Tackle Homelessness
RRT Volunteers once again teamed up with the CEO Sleepout this year to support sleepout events across the UK. As part of their annual commitment, RRT gathered at 6 a.m. on November 12th to grill their signature burgers and serve hot drinks at the Bristol CEO Sleepout event.
Since 2018, the Rapid Relief Team has been supporting CEO Sleepout events across the UK, volunteering to prepare and serve hot breakfasts for participants nationwide. Arriving around 5 a.m. to set up, RRT helps kickstart the day for those taking part. CEO Sleepout is a non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring businesses to unite in the fight against homelessness. By raising funds for frontline services, it helps change lives and brings together leaders who are determined to take a stand against homelessness.
Local RRT Volunteers from Bristol gathered early on November 12th at 6 a.m. to support the Bristol CEO Sleepout at the Gloucestershire Cricket Ground, serving 50 bacon rolls and hot drinks to participants who had spent the night sleeping rough under the stars. CEOs and business leaders came together in solidarity to raise awareness and funds to combat homelessness, spending one cold night outdoors in Bristol.
RRT is proud to support this incredible organisation in its mission to end homelessness in the UK and looks forward to continuing its involvement in future Sleepout events across the country.
