On November 22nd, RRT brought relief to drought-stricken Murraylands farmers at the Farmers Community Connect event in Mannum, South Australia. Over 165 farmers, caring for 4,500 cattle and 166,000 sheep, received 250 one-tonne bulker bags of livestock feed, offering vital support during one of the driest seasons since 1900.

This effort was made possible by 17 dedicated truck drivers covering 27,000 kilometers and countless RRT volunteers who packed feed, served meals, and created a welcoming space for farmers and their families. Farmers and their families enjoyed RRT’s signature burgers, coffee, and donuts while connecting with local service providers.

“This drought is severe, but we hope this small gesture brings relief and reminds farmers they’re not alone.”

RRT Operations Manager, Michael Dunn
