RRT was humbled to be acknowledged by the UK Royal Family for our charitable efforts in supporting farmers affected by drought, people in self-isolation for COVID-19 by donating Food Boxes to those in need and assisting police officers at COVID-19 checkpoints in Western Australia.

Like many charities, we’re working hard to find new and creative ways to meet the needs of local communities, particularly as social distancing measures of COVID-19 impact upon our lives.

The RRT Food Box initiative continues to support people in self-isolation by donating food boxes, which act as an emergency food bank, to those struggling financially, or are at high risk of contracting the virus.

While the COVID-19 crisis continues to throw up never-before-seen challenges for us all, the RRT is committed to providing safe relief in any way we can. Our incredible volunteers recently stepped in to support police officers who were helping to stop the transmission of the virus by monitoring travel checkpoints in Western Australia.

Our volunteers are committed to supporting our local communities through these tough and uncertain times, we must keep faith that together we can get through this.
