RRT has served the Country Fire Association (CFA) a Thank You Dinner at a fun event that gave RRT volunteers the opportunity to test their firefighting skills.

RRT Lilydale provided a barbecue dinner at Lilydale Fire Station, serving CFA volunteers 60 meals to show their appreciation.

RRT volunteers even got to put down the tongs and pick up the fire hose – under CFA guidance, of course!

It was an opportunity to recognise the commitment of the CFA volunteers and the important service they provide to the community.

“It is always a great experience supporting the Lilydale CFA and we really appreciate the connection our teams have built with them over the years. They can be reassured that when an emergency strikes and they need urgent support, they have a trusted team they can rely on.”

Mark Phillips, Lilydale Local Team Leader

CFA were very appreciative of RRT’s provision and commented on how happy and cheerful our volunteers were.
