RRT Remembers Daniel Morcombe at a Walk for Daniel
RRT has supported the Walk for Daniel for an 11th consecutive year on the Sunshine Coast, with participants dressed in red walking for four kilometres to present 11 year old Daniel Morcombe’s unfinished journey. RRT Nambour provided breakfast for those who were walking from Sunshine Christian College in Woombye to Briggs Park in Palmwoods.
Volunteers were there from the start to the finish of the event to serve hot breakfast rolls and coffees.
The Daniel Morcombe Foundation is one of Australia’s most recognised not-for-profit child safety organisations, started by Daniel’s parents in his memory.
The national Day for Daniel is aimed at promoting child safety and creating a safer Australia.

"RRT has supported the Walk for Daniel for 11 years and it is always deeply meaningful to our team."
Daniel Hungerford, RRT Local Team Leader for Nambour
