Registration fees were $20 for the 1K run and $40 for the 5K run.   All fundraising efforts go 100% towards this cause.  On December 9, at 1:00 pm, RRT members arrived and helped set up tents, tables, and chairs for the event.   Some of the volunteers facilitated with directions and traffic control for the safety of the participants.   Two water stations were set up and manned by the Rapid Relief Team to ensure the 278 participants stayed hydrated.

This event is a fun, festive, and family friendly holiday 5K walk/run.   Many of the participants attach jingle bells to their laces and dress in holiday style to come out and support those that suffer from arthritis.  This disease is the nation’s # 1 cause for disability.  Arthritis is painful and those suffering with this disease often have difficulty doing things most take for granted.
