RRT Apart of the Great American Cleanup

Volunteers recently partnered with Keep Rockland Beautiful to support the Great American Cleanup in Rockland County, NY.
Nine local RRT volunteers from across New York helped to pick up 21 bags full of trash littered beside streets in, Airmont, Bardonia, and Chestnut Ridge. Keep Rockland Beautiful is dedicated to cleaning and protecting Rockland’s environment by educating and empowering individuals and organizations to take an active part in caring for their communities.

“What an important community initiative to be part of. This was our first time supporting the Great American Cleanup, and it certainly was a rewarding experience. At RRT, we are always looking for new ways to give back to our community, especially when it keeps our streets, waterways, and parks free of debris and pollution.”
Russell MacGregor, RRT’s Team Leader
Each year, the Great American Cleanup and Fall Waterways campaigns rally over 2,500 volunteers. For more information about this event or upcoming events, please visit Keep Rockland Beautiful’s event page.
