RRT Holding The Pink Ribbon to Separate the Participants and the Side line. Before the sun decided to make its appearance, RRT Volunteers, were already gathering together at many stops along the way, bringing the needed equipment, setting up tents and tables, and preparing for the events of the day. They began their work at 5:45 am, at water stop 1, setting up tables, and filling up over 1,000 cups of water. By 6:30 the water stop was in full swing, with young volunteers working hard to ensure the needs of the upcoming racers would be met in full.

They were then directed where to go, where they could mingle with friends and family while still allowing room at the finish line for the racers following right in behind.
Gathering before the EventAs soon as the race was complete, RRT volunteers assisted Stacey Black and Seth Dunway with the breaking down of the event. The Rapid Relief Team from Knoxville kicked into high gear with the clean-up, from picking up garbage, folding, and moving tables, taking down tents, and hauling pallets of water bottles. RRT had the sight restored and in order in less than two hours.
