RRT EU Teams Support Annual Charity Cycling Event
For more than seven years, RRT volunteers have supported the remarkable Team Rynkeby Race to Paris, an annual charity cycling event that unites over 2,100 riders and 500 support crew members across 68 teams in eight European countries; all rallying together to raise vital funds for organisations supporting critically ill children.
This year’s tour covered 1,200km through rugged hills and iconic landscapes, from Gothenburg and Zurich to Paris, in a vibrant convoy. RRT teams from Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France set up at checkpoints in towns including Trelleborg, Singen, Maienfeld, Borken, North Venlo, Mur de Huy, and Meaux to keep riders fuelled along their journey.
The Impact in Numbers:
- 3,500 meals served to riders and support personnel.
- Over 1,000 meals of which were provided at the iconic Mur de Huy stage alone.
- 3,655 bottles of water handed out to keep recipients refreshed.
- 130 volunteer hours dedicated to supporting this extraordinary event.
In 2025, thanks to the efforts of riders, crews, and supporters, Team Rynkeby raised €8,492,360 to be donated to organisations who support critically ill children. Beyond the numbers, the true power of the race lies in the community it builds, strangers becoming teammates and small acts of service that combine to make a difference.

I’ve never climbed this hill before, and honestly, I’ve had plenty of sleepless nights thinking it might not even be possible. But here I am. The challenge, the cause, and the camaraderie are what draw thousands to this event each year, and for more than seven years, RRT volunteers have stood alongside Team Rynkeby to provide support on this worthwhile cause.
Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Tour de Paris, and RRT will once again stand alongside Team Rynkeby, bringing nourishment and support all the way to the finish line.
